North Africa Hamz A. Innajih is a local governance advisor for the Creative Association International and a member of the International Peace Foundation for Human Rights, located at Sedi-Almasri Tripoli, and a member of the Union of Students of political science graduates, Tripoli. He is the head of the Libyan Association for Public Opinion Research, which focuses its work on human rights and civil society issues. As a consultant for the local government, he is responsible for the planning and implementation of local programs activities in the municipality of Gharyan south of the Tripoli, Libya, 80 km. This includes the provision of a wide range of technical support and development for members of municipal councils and staff. He is responsible for overseeing the implementation of dedicated municipal training program and communicating with local government officials as members and the mayor of the municipality, and reporting on the progress of the program and indicators for monitoring and evaluation of the Creative Foundation. In addition, he works with an organization dedicated to measuring public opinion in Libya— its name is the Libyan Association for Public Opinion Research. It has many branches in several cities in the south and west. He is active in civil society as a whole—these activities are in the field of human rights and peaceful transition through programs in Libya based on obtained a diploma in nonviolence and peacemaking from the Michigan peace team. |
