Jin Zhou Zhang, MAS-GIS

Geographic Information Science

My name is Jinzhou Zhang. I born in 1993 in China. Since September 2011 to June 2015, I studied Geographic Information Science at Beijing Normal University. From Aug 2015 to Aug 2016, I complete MAS-GIS program at ASU and got my Master’s degree of Geographic Information Science. I focus on combination of GIS and Remote Sensing for my academic profession. The skills I have includes Cartography, Spatial Analysis, C++ programming, Python programming, Web development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS, Relational Database Management and Statistics. Applying those skills, I did two internships related to GIS in the U.S. The first is at Gila River Indian Community. My major duty there was making maps and doing land survey. The second internship I did was at ASU Center for Applied Behavioral Health Policy. I focused on GIS Web Development on this position.
