Xitlaly Rivera is an undergraduate student at Arizona State University pursuing a Bachelors in Science in Sustainability with a minor degree in Business. Her research interests include socioeconomic development, energy policy, renewable energy implementation, and civic engagement. She is a member of Mi Familia Vota's Leadership Development Program which provides workshops, motivational speakers, and community involvement opportunities to enhance Latinos’ social and economic justice. Xitlaly currently serves as the Public Policy Intern at The Zambakari Advisory. In this role, she is responsible for developing detailed policy briefs, writing blog posts for the company’s website, and conducting research on technology and renewable energy in Africa and the Middle East.
